Haha, I know right. The Japanese have an interesting view of what’s sexy.
We just got an e-mail from my dad, whose Japanese colleague at Fort Detrick commented on the blue NIPPON NIPPON sign I am walking in front of in one of the pictures here. He provided a translation:
“Hang in, Japan!” and “Become single-minded in everyone’s efforts to restore (from tsunami damage).”
